OBJECTIVE:
This project explores visual communication through a three-dimensional cube highlighting architect Albert Ledner and his modernist design approach. I was drawn to Ledner’s ability to transform everyday objects into architectural inspiration, particularly seen in his “Ashtray House” and Maritime Buildings. Circular forms became the primary visual motif, inspired by ashtrays and ship-like porthole windows found throughout his work. Typography, imagery, and graphic elements were arranged across each side of the cube to function as part of a unified composition. The final design emphasizes repetition, simplicity, and texture, reflecting both Ledner’s modernist influence and the analog qualities present in his architectural process.
