OBJECTIVE:
This project is an eight-page design history booklet inspired by graphic designer Tomoko Miho. Her work’s simplicity and sense of effortlessness influenced the use of a structured two- to three-column grid system and a restrained visual approach. A limited palette of black and pink creates consistency while guiding hierarchy and emphasis throughout the spreads. Layouts were planned through careful grid development before integrating text and imagery to maintain balance and readability. The final design focuses on clarity, spacing, and controlled color to reflect both Miho’s design style and my own interpretation of her work.
