This project focused on raising awareness around food waste in the United States through an informational poster built from data sourced from ReFED’s food-waste visualization model and annual report. The goal was to communicate the scale of the issue in a way that felt immediate and difficult to overlook. Visually, the design draws inspiration from tabloid-style infographics, using a bold orange and red color palette to capture attention while fine line work organizes complex information into a clear hierarchy. The project emphasized clarity, data visualization, and visual impact to help audiences better understand the magnitude of food waste and its broader implications.
